Tennessee is a US state which lies in the Southeastern United States. It is bordered by North Carolina on the Eastern side, Arkansas and Missouri on the Western side, Virginia and Kentucky on the Northern side and Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama on the Southern side.

It was discovered by Spanish explorer and conquistador, Hernando De Soto during his expedition.
