Tay-Sachs disease is known as a genetic disorder. It destroys the nervous system. It also destroys the physical and mental abilities of human being. It was first discovered by Waren Tay, a British ophthalmologist in 1881. He depicted the red spot on the eyes retina which exists in Tay-Sachs disease. Later in 1887, Bernard Sachs, a Jewish-American neurologist denoted the cellular variations of the Tay-Sachs disease.
