Malaria is known as common infectious disease of human beings. It is caused by protozoan virus. It was discovered in 1898 by British doctor Sir Ronald Ross. He verified the transmission of malaria by mosquitoes. He won the Nobel Prize in 1902 for his great works in the field of medicine.
