Asteroids are collection of small rocky celestial bodies which rotate around the sun. 6 Hebe or1947 JB is a huge asteroid of the asteroid belt. It is fifth luminous object after Ceres, Vesta, Pallas and Iris under the main-belt asteroid. It was sixth and last asteroid to be discovered by well-known German astronomer Karl Ludwig Hencke. It was discovered by him on July 1, 1847. German mathematician, Johann Carl Friedrich Gauss recommends its name “Hebe”.
