The Saturn’s rings are the vast planetary ring system situated in the Solar System. They are composed of numerous small particles. The rings of Saturn were first discovered in 1610 by Italian astronomer, Galileo Galilei. He discovered the Saturn’s rings by his telescope which is commonly known as a terrestrial telescope or spyglass. He described them as a pair of additional planets following Saturn’s orbit. But later in 1659, Christiaan Huygens a famous Dutch astronomer recognized them as rings.
